Sisal Basket with goat leather detail.
This fair trade basket was hand made in South Eastern Kenya.
Basket weaving is a tradition in the ‘Taita’ culture. Both natural and commercial dyes are used. The sisal used is grown in fields belonging to these women.
Each basket is tagged with the weavers name.
