The Barefoot concept was created in 1958 out of a need for a rehabilitation program for young Sri Lankan woman, who had limited schooling and skills. Barefoot opposes exploitive practices. Each artisan earns a living wage enabling them to support their families with self-respect and dignity.
Material: 100% hand-loomed cotton. Stuffed with kapok (a natural stuffing fibre)
Care instructions: Do not wash. Spot clean only using gentle detergents.
