One of a kind vintage rugs hand crafted in remote villages in Morocco.
Boucherouite rugs first emerged around the 1950's, woven from pre-used clothing or scrap materials. These were traditionally used as blankets and wraps to keep warm especially during the harsh winter in Atlas Mountains. The rugs are traditionally made from a mixture of thousands of scraps of used materials such as cotton and wool.
The mix of materials adds texture, warmth and soul to your home.
This rug is vintage and may show signs of wear and discolouration this is part of their charm and uniqueness.
